EFEx Digital - Music Industry

Hi all,
It's going to be a tough few months for many of us working in the industry.

This month's EFEx Digital newsletter largely contains information about where to find advice and how to make sure there's a strong folk, roots and acoustic industry in tact as we move forwards.

We've launched a load of gigs as part of our trainee promoter programme taking place at both Rochdale Folk Festival and Beverley Fringe Festival. These first gigs from our participant promoters happen to be taking place in June...for now! If you have any advice or thoughts to support the industry, do let us know,

Our community is strong and we need to use this cooperative spirit to ensure we weather this storm.

SUPPORT A MUSICIAN

COVID-19 or Coronavirus has seen hundreds of festivals and events cancelled right across the world.

This can be especially devastating for folk musicians, emerging artists and people carefully building their career in a tough industry.

When we come out of the other side of this pandemic, we can’t let our music industry be one of the many victims. If we are not able to sustain festivals, venues and most importantly, musicians through this difficult time, they may not be there for us to enjoy in future.

Below is a link to our public advice about helping out - please do share it far and wide, or let us know if there's more we should be including.
